Journey through Jewish Spain this spring

The Jewish Historical Society of Greater Hartford is planning a community-wide, two-week trip to Spain in May 2015. Stops will include Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Granada and Toledo, where participants will visit sites of historic Jewish interest, as well as other locations. There will be a stop at a winery, as well as a chance to enjoy flamenco dancing.

The tour will be led by Dr. Jonathan Ray, a Jewish studies professor at Georgetown University and an expert on Medieval and early modern Jewish history, with a focus on the Sephardic world.
