New England Urgent Care opens fourth location

BRISTOL – New England Urgent Care has announced the opening of its fourth location. The new location at 576 Farmington Ave. in Bristol will be in operation as of Dec. 15, 2014.

Each day during its weeklong Grand Opening, New England Urgent Care will offer one of the following free services: flu vaccinations, chair massage, and school physicals. Special gift bags will be given to the first 100 visitors.

“We are very excited to be part of the Bristol community and to offer exceptional immediate medical care at a fraction of the wait time and cost of a typical ER visit,” explained Michael Gutman, MD, PhD, FACEP and New England Urgent Care Medical director.

Open seven days a week, New England Urgent Care treats all non-life threatening illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages at its locations in West Hartford, Enfield, Simsbury and now Bristol. Each facility is equipped to perform on-site X-rays, IV treatments, lab tests, castings and suturing.

New England Urgent Care received the 2013 Hartford Business Journal Healthcare Heroes Award; Hartford Magazine Best of 2014 for Urgent Care Centers; and was recently a finalist for 2014 Hartford Business Journal’s Family Business Awards.
