Eric and Karina Khatskelevich of Plano, Tex. announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica of New York, N.Y. to Scott Pearl of Farmington, the son of Gary and Deneen Pearl of Orange.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Vladimir and Musya Shvarts of Westbury, N.Y. and Josef and Lina Khatskelevich of Brooklyn, N.Y. She received her BS in Accounting and MBA at Indiana University and is a CPA at PwC in Manhattan.

The future groom is the grandson of Joan Pearl of Orange, and the late Leonard Pearl, and the late Richard and Elizabeth White. He received his BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut, MS from Quinnipiac University, and is in his final year of dental school at the University of Connecticut.

A January 2017 wedding is planned in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
