Morton Robert Horwitz, 94, of West Bloomfield, Mich., formerly of West Haven, has died. He was the widower of Sally Horwitz. He was the son of the late Sarah Horwitz. He is survived by his companion, Bea Sonders; his children, Arthur Horwitz and his wife Gina, Leonard Horwitz and his wife Marilyn, and Laurie Ellen Duhan and her husband Daniel; his grandchildren, Rabbi Daniel Horwitz and his wife Miriam, Adam Horwitz and his wife Sheri, Stephanie Horwitz, Chaya Sarah Zomber and her husband David, Dov Horwtiz, Michael Horwitz, Ari Horwitz, Chanie Friedman and her husband Ari, Judy Greenfield and her husband Eli, Sam Glowitz and his wife Orly, Andrew Duhan and Alison Duhan; and his great-grandchildren, Avi, Rachel, Leah, Yitzhak, Aaron, Esther and Batsheva Zomber, Devorah, Zev and Avi Friedman, Devorah Greenfield, Jonah and Benjamin Horwitz. He was also pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law, Rochelle Horwitz, and his brothers, Harold and Sidney Horwitz.
