At the JCC’s annual meeting, Risa Raich was installed as the new president of the organization’s Board of Directors — as JCC CEO Eric Koehler (left) and immediate past president Jeff Goldblum look on.

The Stamford Jewish Community Center celebrated its past, present and future at its annual meeting on May 24 — marking both the organization’s centennial as well as the community’s turn as host of the 2016 JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest this August. The run-up to the Games began on May 22 with a torch relay in which nearly 300 participants traced the historical migration of the Stamford JCC from its original location on Greyrock Place in downtown Stamford, north to 132 Prospect Street, and north again to the 14—acre campus at 1035 Newfield Avenue that is home to the JCC today. The relay ended at the annual meeting — which was the JCC’s 100th birthday!

CAP: Ellen Bromley was among those carrying the torch along the 2.9-mile route.
