Lawrence (“Larry”) Cohen, 87, of Bloomfield, died August 22. He was the husband of Sherri. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Louis and Jennie Cohen. He served with the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War, 1952-1954. He was an active member of the Chabad House in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennie Cohen, Shera Cohen, Rachel Cohen, and Joe Cohen and his wife Cindy; his grandsons, Jason and John Cohen; his brother, Billy Cohen and his wife Marilyn; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Crane. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Irving Crane and Samuel Cohen.
