Sylvia Loretta (Lefkowitz) Dorfman, 94, of Bloomfield, died July 27. She was the widow of Myron Dorfman. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Samuel and Gertrude (Hoffman) Lefkowitz. She is survived by her sons, David Dorfman and his fiancé Anna Thompson of Middletown, Jeffrey Dorfman of Morris Plains, N.J., and Marshall Dorfman and his wife Tammy of West Hartford; her brothers, Joel Lefkowitz, and Herman Lefkowitz and his wife Nancy; her grandchildren, Melissa Dorfman Smith and her husband Jason, Brandon, Jordan, and Tyler; and his great-grandchildren, Parker and Preston; and his daughter-in-law Kim Dorfman. He was also predeceased by her sister Corrine.
