Putting food on the table

Members of the Jerusalem unit of the Mandell JCC Camp Shalom had a fun and educational tour of the Jewish Family Service (JFS) Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry one recent afternoon. Thirty-six campers played a hunger-focused game of Pictionary to reinforce the reality that hunger doesn’t discriminate. With funds donated by Camp Shalom and the campers’ parents, the group shopped at the Crown Market where they purchased about $500 worth of much needed food for the pantry.
