Newington teen attends high school program in Israel

HARTFORD – Moriah Pardo, a congregant of Temple Sinai in Newington, is part of a cohort of 31 teens from across North America currently spending a semester in Israel on the NFTY-EIE (Eisendrath International Experience) High School in Israel program.

“I really love Israel and wanted to have an amazing time there,” says Pardo.

Based on Kibbutz Tzuba, located in the Judean Hills approximately 15 minutes outside of Jerusalem, the EIE program was established in 1961 by NFTY, the youth arm of the Reform movement, for students in grades 10-12.
