Morton (Mort) J. Dimenstein, 83, died July 8. He was the widower of Elayne Rosell Dimenstein. He was the son of the late Jack and Freida Dimenstein. He was also predeceased by his daughter Patricia Eagle and her husband Louis and his son-in-law Gerald. He is survived by his daughters, Marcie Dimenstein of Hamden, Beth Dimenstein of Supply, N.C., Michelle Lupkin and her husband Jonathan of Teaneck, N.J., and Amy Bennett and her husband Fred of New York, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Adam (Olivia) Dimenstein, Shira Lupkin, Jenna Dimenstein, Arielle Lupkin, Leora Lupkin, Ilana Lupkin and Emma Bennett; his former wife Marjorie Thalberg Sydney; his life partner Caryl Blum; and his brother Marty of South Africa.
