Pearl G. Kurhan, 103, of New Haven, formerly of West Haven, died Sept. 19. She was the widow of Nathan S. Kurhan. Born in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of Harold Gershman and Ida (Gronhilski) Gershman. She is survived by her children, Evelyn (Kurhan) Hecht and Howard M. Kurhan; her grandchildren, David A. Hecht, Alissa D. Hecht, Alexandra (Ali) M. Kurhan and Elizabeth (Mini) V. Kurhan; her great-grandchildren, Jeremy R. Hecht and Stella Cronin; her brothers, Bernard (Tim) Gershman and his wife Ruth, and Alexander (Alec) Gershman and his wife Shirlee; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Albert Gershman and Morris Gershman and her sisters, Anne Brownstein, Lilyan Levine, and Ruth Most and their spouses.
