Getting out the vote

More than 350 people gave David Baram a rousing reception as he kicked off his campaign for Judge of Probate of the Tabacco Valley Probate Court at the Windsor Locks Octoberfest. Baram, who serves as state representative for the 15th district (Bloomfield/Windsor), is chair of the State House of Representatives General Law Committee that has jurisdiction over consumer protection matters, and also serves on the Judiciary Committee. A longtime active member of the Jewish community, he currently serves as a board member of several organizations, including the Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford and the ADL Hartford region. The Tobacco Valley Probate Court District encompasses Windsor Locks, East Granby, Suffield, and Bloomfield. Pictured here at Octoberfest with Baram is former State Representative Peggy Sayers.
