Making Thanksgiving even

Sixty-five JTConnect teens used their culinary skills to put the value of gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness) into action – and enhance the Thanksgiving holiday for more than 1,200 people throughout the Greater Hartford area. The teens baked 160 pumpkin pies and 300 sugar cookies (give or take a cookie!) that they then donated to three different local organizations that provided Thanksgiving meals for those in need.

CAP: JTConnect teens (l to r) Dylan Karp, Zach Huber, and Alyssa Goldstein have their hands full baking pies and cookies for local food shelters.
