Daniel Kenneth Roberts, 93, of Stamford, died Sept. 19. He was the husband of Betty Roberts. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Sadie and Louie Krupnick. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II, and received a Purple Heart after stepping on a land mine on the French-German border while going to get medic help for his sergeant. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Eric Roberts of Denver, and Jeri Appel and her husband Mark of Stamford; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Zoe, Joshua, and Lilly.
