Hitting the high notes in West Hartford

Broadway came to West Hartford on Thursday, Oct. 24, when a group of Hartt School of Music vocalists, under the direction of Robert Felnstein, entertained the 110 guests in attendance at the Emanuel Synagogue Sisterhood Gala Dinner. The evening included greetings from Emanuel’s spiritual leader, Rabbi David Small, and recognition of Sisterhood President Fern Cohen, who was honored as a Woman of Distinction by the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism. Sisterhood Vice President of Membership Beth S. Goldberg also gave a special warm welcome to the Sisterhood’s 20 new members.
