Helen Becker, 103, of West Hartford, formerly of Manchester, died Feb. 9. She was the widow of Louis Becker. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Bessie (Rosenthal) Tanelson. Helen graduated from Weaver High in 1933. She was a member for 65 years of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel Synagogue in Manchester. She is survived by her children, Ellie Moses and her husband Bob, and Jim Becker and his wife Dotti; her nephew Commander Richard Berkman; her niece Leslie Brown and her husband David; her grandson Eli Beard; her great-grandchild, Colette Beard; and other family members. She was predeceased by her brothers, Saul and Jacob Berkman.
