LOS ANGELES – Bubbies Know Best, a production of Bubbies of Jewish Life Television, wherein three Jewish grandmothers act as matchmakers, recently concluded its first season. Season 2 was in pre-production until the coronavirus took hold. 

Now, not to be deterred, Bubbies Bunny Gibson, S.J. Mendelson and Linda Rich have instead launched “Bubbies Know Best – Podcast Edition” – a weekly audio-visual 30-minute podcast. On each episode of Bubbies Know Best – Podcast Edition, the Bubbies offer words of wisdom, “kibbutz” (chat) with their favorite celebrities, and react to some of the craziest videos from reality shows around the world. Among the celebs the Bubbies have been chatting are Jacob Laval (HBO’s The Plot Against America), Rebecca Metz (FX’s Better Things and Disney Channel’s Coop and Cami Ask the World), Eric Roberts (Runaway Train), Bubbies Know Best – Podcast Edition is available through all podcast platforms (http://bubbies.jltv.tv) and also airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Jewish Life Television/JLTV (www.jltv.tv/channels) Eli Rosen (Netflix’s Unorthodox) and more.
