Richard Benjamin Laschever, 91, of Bloomfield, formerly of West Hartford, died August 13. He was the husband of Estelle (Weinman) Laschever. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Abraham and Ida (Seltzer) Laschever. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the 50s. He was a past president of Temple Beth Tefilah in East Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Bram Laschever of West Hartford, Rebecca Swett and her husband Vern, and Rachel Movitz and her husband Graham; and his grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob.
