New England Chapter of March of the Living offers teens $2,000 scholarships

The New England Chapter of March of the Living (MOTL) is offering $2,000 scholar to high school juniors and seniors who participate in the 2022 March of the Living Jewish heritage trip to Poland and Israel. The annual March of the Living trip, which was cancelled in 2020 and 2021due to the pandemic, teaches teens about the roots of prejudice and Holocaust history, builds Jewish identity, and helps teens meet new friends from around the world. Highlights of the two-week trip include visits to historic Jewish sites in Poland, visits to concentration camps and Yom Hashoah ceremonies in Poland, followed by a trip to Israel where the teens join in the celebration of Israel Independence Day (Yom Ha’atzmaut).

The 2022 MOTL trip will run April 24 – May 8, 2022. Space is limited. Register early by contacting himAaron Kischel at kischel7241@gmail.com. Additional financial assistance may be available from area temples and organizations.
