Fred Howard Gross, 74, of New Haven, died July 2. He was the husband of Ina Wallach Gross. Raised in New Haven, he was the son of Moses and Anne Trachten Gross. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Barry Gross and his wife Lauren, Beth Messina and her husband Joseph; his grandchildren, Maxwell and Zachary Gross, and Lilly Messina; his brother Jerome; and his sister Robin.
