David Henry Bernstein of Palm Desert, Calif., formerly of Hartford, Conn., died Oct. 1 just 22 shy of his 84th birthday. He was the husband of Patty DuBroff. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Sidney and Stella Bernstein. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Mark and Richard; his sons, Jeffrey and Michael; his daughter-in-law Rachell; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Erica, Eve and Sasha.
