Mark Samuel Shipman, 85, died at home March 4. He was the husband of Sonia Soisensky Shipman. Born in Hartford, Conn. and raised in Newington,, he was the son of Paul D. Shipman and Reeva (Joseph) Shipman. In addition to Sonia, his wife of 62 years, he is survived by three  sons, Paul, and his husband Thomas Lee, of Bloomfield, Larry and his partner Michelle Lapuk, of Essex, and Bill and his wife, Rachel Kittredge Shipman of Simsbury; two grandchildren, Andrew and Robert; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
