Missing Boston Jewish teen found safe

(JNS.org) Sixteen-year old Boston teenager Caleb Jacoby was found safe Thursday night, Jan. 9 in New York City’s Times Square. The Boston Jewish community had united around the search for Jacoby, who disappeared around 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, police in the Boston suburb of Brookline, Mass., said. Caleb is the son of prominent Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby. Local Jewish organizations and community members circulated fliers with Jacoby’s photograph and personal description, and the case drew national attention, particularly on Twitter.
