Robert W. Richards, 100, of Stamford, has died. He was the widower of Gertrude DeWald Richards. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of Emil and Valesca Rosenberg. He served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving the Bronze Star. He is survived by his daughters, Corliss Schlow of Newtown, Gisele Graham of Newtown and Sandra Gladstone of Stamford; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. SHIPPAN’S THOMAS M.
