Hartford Federation receives highest rating from Charity Navigator

 

WEST HARTFORD — The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, an independent charity watchdog organization that evaluates charitable organizations in the United States. Four stars is the highest ranking awarded by the organization. Its rating system evaluated non-profits based on two criteria for: financial health and accountability/transparency.

The goal of Charity Navigator is to ensure that charitable donations go to efficient, accountable and transparent charities worthy of support.
