Children up to age 13 are invited to submit an essay on the topic “What Chanukah Means to Me” for inclusion in the Chanukah Essay Contest sponsored by Chabad of Greater Hartford. Essays of a maximum of 300 words should be submitted to info@chabadhartford.com with the subject line “Essay Contest.” Submission deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 20. The winner will be invited to read his/her essay at the “Fire & Ice” candle-lighting ceremony in Blue Back Square on Dec. 25.
