Barbara E. (Friedman) Burns, 81, died Sept. 18. She was the widow of Jay Burns. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived most of her life in Windsor. She is survived by her children, Jeff Burns and his wife Liza, and Lauri Boscarino and her husband Mark; her grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Jacob and Andrew.
