Bloomfield pays tribute to innocent lives lost

Probate Judge David Baram spoke last Saturday, Nov. 3 at a Bloomfield community vigil honoring the 11 Jews shot to death in a Pittsburgh synagogue, as well as two African Americans murdered in Kentucky. Baram, an active member of the Greater Hartford Jewish community, also spoke about the proud history of activism in the town of Bloomfield, which culminated in its designation as an All American City — “a beacon of diversity where people from all walks of life live together in harmony and respect.” That, said Baram, “is one of the unique contributions Bloomfield citizens can make in helping to restore order and civility to these turbulent times.”
