Two officers of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) spoke to congregants at Beth Hillel Synagogue when they visited the Bloomfield shul the weekend of April 8 and 9.  The officers were accompanied by Dan Haskell,  executive director of the Westchester County/Connecticut Friends of the IDF and the organization’s assistant director, Rebecca Feld.   The officers spoke at Friday evening and Shabbat morning services.  For security reasons, the officers’ names were not released.
