Food for thought

Fourth-graders at Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy in Stamford visiting the local food pantry to help stock the shelves with much needed food products and to learn about how the problem of hunger in America affects their own community. The pantry’s director talked to the students about homelessness, touching on her own experience as a previously homeless person.
