On Tuesday evening, June 7, 10th grade confirmands of Temple Israel in Westport led the Erev Shavuot service, during which they confirmed their relationship to Judaism and to God. The Reform movement chose Shavuot as the occasion on which confirmation would take place because it allows young people the opportunity to renew that covenant established so long ago.
