Registration open for book club exploring modern Jewish literature

The Yiddish Book Center has opened registration for its 2021 Great Jewish Books Book Club, which offers readers around the world a unique opportunity to read and discuss great works of modern Jewish literature together in real time. Now in its fifth year, the Book Club sends four books over the course of a year–works selected from the vast trove of modern Jewish literature, focusing on Yiddish literature. (All selections are in English.) Book Club members read selections together. The four books offer a range of genres, themes, and diversity in the authors and backgrounds of the works.

Registration deadline is Nov. 29. A one-year membership is $78 (includes four books and shipping within the US). Gift memberships may be purchased.
