A recent poll by The Brookings Institution revealed several eye-opening facts about what Israeli Jews are thinking. Among them: Israelis aren’t all that crazy about President Obama. But that doesn’t mean they don’t love the United States.

51 percent of Israeli Jews reported negative views of President Obama

41 percent described their views as positive towards the President

78 percent regard the U.S. favorably

36 percent said recognition of Israel as a Jewish state must be a precondition to a peace agreement.

36 percent said they would like recognition as a precondition, but could live without it.
