BLOOMFIELD — The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford allocated $170,000 to the Bess and Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy in Bloomfield for their early childhood and grades K-8 programs. Lisa Fishman, vice chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Women’s Philanthropy, visited the day school recently to present the check to the school’s principal, Rabbi Mordechai Weiss, and its president Eric Halpern.
