Michael Piekarsky (center) gets a lesson in laying tefillin from Michael Levine (left) and Cantor Sandy Cohn (right) at The Emanuel Synagogue on Sunday morning, Feb. 5.  The West Hartford shul was among several local Conservative congregations to mark World Wide Wrap 2012, sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, with a family education program aimed at teaching members of the community how to properly wear tefillin. The session was followed by the morning service, breakfast, and educational workshops.
