Robert Irving Epstein, 81, died May 12 in Tucson, Ariz. He was the husband of Shirley Epstein. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Irma Lellouche Epstein of West Haven. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother David (Lana) of Albuquerque, N.M., and his sister Lois Buslovitz of Hamden. He was predeceased by his first wife, Jacqueline Derman Epstein, and his brothers Joseph and Burton.
