Elizabeth Weinstein Helferich

Elizabeth Weinstein Helferich, 86, of Windsor Locks and Bangor, Me., died March 16. Born in Peabody, Mass., she was the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Shachatovitz) Weinstein. During World War II, she volunteered to work on farms in Vermont and at an aircraft factory in Arizona to assist in the war effort. She is survived by her children, Patti (Lou) Kornreich of Bangor, Me., and David (Cindy) Helferich of Lyndeborough, N.H.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Sam, sisters Minnie and Eva and her son Steven.
