Everything’s groovy

Residents, staff members, and Adult Day Center clients dancing to the twist

Homecoming Week was a far-out success at Hebrew Health Care (HHC) in West Hartford – where seniors and their families took part in a host of 60s-themed activities, such as the game show “What’s My Line?” featuring residents as celebrity guests Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Hendricks, James Brown and Andy Warhol. HHC’s recreation therapist Charmaine Emond created all of the elaborate costumes worn by residents and staff, and the Adult Day Center transformed HCC’s auditorium into a swinging sixties television game show set.
