Perform a Christmas day mitzvah!

Hebrew Health Care is seeking volunteers for its Christmas Day Mitzvah Program. Volunteers take over certain staff duties on Christmas day, so that staff members may celebrate the holiday with their families. Volunteers fill in on a variety of tasks, including: serving sandwiches in the Main Street Café; manning the gift shop; delivering breakfast, lunch, and dinner trays; clerical tasks; helping out at recreational activities; transporting wheelchair-bound patients; delivering laundry; helping in the kitchen, and more.

The Christmas Day Mitzvah Program begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Volunteers may sign up for an hour or several hours. For more information or to register, contact Ruthan Wein at (860) 523-3818 or rwein@hebrewhealthcare.org.
