Irving Fierstein, 91, of Farmington, died April 25, a few days before his 92nd birthday. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Max and Dora (Brown) Fierstein. He was a member of Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford for 30 years. He is survived by his sister, Tillie Sheptoff; his nieces, Joan Baltarshanski and her husband Paul, Lynn Nestor and her husband Jeffrey, and Maxine Elansky and her husband Steve; his nephews, Kenneth Sheptoff, Mark Sheptoff  and his wife Andrea, Jerry Fierstein and his wife Sandra, and Lenny Ginsberg; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
