Rep. Matthew Lesser to serve on National Association of Jewish Legislators

State Rep. Matthew Lesser (D – Middletown) has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Jewish Legislators (NAJL).

“I am honored to have been asked to serve on the board of the National Association of Jewish Legislators,” said Rep. Lesser. “This fantastic organization allows a group of legislators from all across the U.S. who would otherwise never have the chance to meet the opportunity to unite under a shared heritage and exchange policies and ideas. I am looking forward to having an even greater opportunity to connect with my fellow Jewish elected officials by serving as an NAJL board member.”

The NAJL serves as a network and forum for Jewish state legislators from all across the country with the goal of developing “an innovative national public policy center focusing on the American Jewish government and political community.”

Lesser is serving his fourth term representing the 100th district of Middletown. He serves as Chair of the Banking Committee and as a member of both the Appropriations and the Government Administration and Elections Committees.
