Louise Greenfield, 96, of Waterbury passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 at her residence. Ms. Greenfield was born April 26, 1919 in Waterbury daughter of the late Samuel and Ida (Ackerman) Greenfield. Louise was a highly regarded Music Teacher prior to her retirement. She sang on Broadway in countless musicals in her younger years. She is survived by her cousins, Dr. Louis Yavetz, Dava (Yavetz) and her husband David Lacher, and Ann (Ackerman) and her husband Daniel Jennes; and her close friends Nancy, Pat, Yolonda, Chris, Jose, and Leah. Louise’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Hospice Staff that cared for Louise in her final days.

A funeral service for Ms. Greenfield was held on October 20, 2015 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, with burial at Sharis Israel Cemetery in Waterbury.
