Milldred “Milly” (Levine) Cohen, 87, of West Hartford, formerly of Boyton Beach, Fla., died May 4. She was the widow of Milton “Milt” G. Cohen. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Morris and Sophie (Makofka) Levine . She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Leibert and her husband Richard of West Hartford; her sister, Roslyn Gurock of Bellerose, N.Y.; her three granddaughters, Deborah Leibert Kritzman and her husband Alfred “AJ” of West Hartford, Cheryl Leibert Mahoney and her husband Nathan of Los Angeles, Calif., Sarah Leibert Williams and her husband Matthew of Simsbury; her great-grandchildren, Sophie, Sally and Sadie Kritzman, Henry Williams and Harrison Mahoney; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, David Allen Cohen. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m.,Friday, May 6 at Beth El Temple Cemetery, Jackson St. Extension, Avon with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Shiva will be observed on Friday, May 6 after services at the Kritzman home, 38 Fulton Place, West Hartford, Sunday and Monday evening at the home of Joyce and Richard Leibert, 44 Clifford Drive, West Hartford. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary.
