Bloomfield artist wins national award

“Keeping the Beat,” a painting by artist Beth S. Goldberg, has been selected a winner in the National Platform Show in the special Category of Mixed Media. Currently on tour throughout the country, “Keeping the Beat” has been exhibited at the San Diego Art Expo and the Miami Art Expo and will be exhibited at the Coachella Art and, in April, at the art expo in New York. The painting was also previously licensed by Hofstra University to use as the cover for its Concert Series.

A resident of Bloomfield, Goldberg is an Artist Elect at the West Hartford Art League. In order to earn that title, an artist’s work must be accepted in three different CT Plus 6 exhibits and the work must be judged by three jurors. Her paintings part of several prestigious collections, including the Dupont Collection and are represented in other prestigious collections.
