HARTFORD – David S. Federman will receive the Champion of Yes Lifetime Achievement Award of the Arthritis Foundation, it was announced recently by the Foundation. Federman will be presented with his award on Friday, Sept. 8 at the Arthritis Foundation’s Commitment to a Cure Awards Dinner at the Downtown Hartford Marriott.

A resident of Bloomfield, Federman is a CPA and founding and managing partner of Federman, Lally & Remis LLC. He is also a past recipient of the Arthritis Foundation National Volunteer Service Citation.

“Dave has made it his mission to help people of all ages living with arthritis. He is an incredible volunteer who is passionate about leading the Arthritis Foundation to the next advancement in finding a cure,” said Luellen Perkins, the Foundation’s senior development director.

Wade Harshaw, Chair Arthritis Foundation Connecticut Leadership Board, noted that more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children, have arthritis – and nearly 700,000 adults and 3,400 children with arthritis live in Connecticut.
