Mary Zala Shemitz, 83, of Woodbridge and Guilford, died Oct. 15. She was the wife of Norman Silver Shemitz. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Peggy Zala. She was also predeceased by her brother David Zala, and her son Peter Shemitz. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jon Shemitz and his partner Tané Tachyon, llen Shemitz and her partner Gilles Martin, and her daughter E, and Leigh Shemitz and her husband Christopher Winters; her grandchildren, Samuel, Arthur, Peggy, Roger, Matthew, Adam, Dylan and Autumn; her daughter-in-law Flora Winitz; her sister-in-law Linne Zala; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
