Averell (Avi) Greif, 60, of Stamford, died Oct. 29. He was the husband of Rhonda Greif. Born in New York City and raised in Monday, New York, he was the son of the late Louis and Ann Greif. He was a member and past president of the Young Israel of Stamford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Matthew, Coby and Jensen; his brother Jules; and many other family and friends.
