Bennett J. Wrubel of Boynton Beach, Fla. and West Hartford, died April 8. He was the widower of Sandra (Diner) and Shirley (Schocett). Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Samuel and Fannie (Becker) Wrubel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Lewis, Jerry and Melvin. He is survived by his children, Rhonda Perlroth and her husband William, Robert Wrubel and his husband Garry Greer, and Sherri Jefferson and her husband Allan; his grandchildren, Denise Zamberk (Andres), Erica Clement (Nick), and Seth and Noah Jefferson; his great-grandchildren, Simon, Gabriel and Owen; and many nieces and nephews.
