Kara Sundlun to speak at “Living with Intention 2018”

WEST HARTFORD–WFSB-TV news anchor and talk show host Kara Sundlun will discuss her journey to reconnect with her father, former Rhode Island Governor Bruce Sundlun, and share what she has learned about reconciliation and reconnection at Living with Intention 2018 Presented by Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Women of Impact, Sundlun’s talk will be held on Wednesday evening, May 23, at the Mark Twain House, 385 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a community dinner, which will include remarks by Jeanette Koll, Director of Resource Development at Beit Uri Village in Afula, Israel, who will share her experiences raising a son with special needs and discuss how Israel is including people with disabilities. Sundlun’s talk will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $60 for dinner, dessert and the program; $18 for dessert and the program only.
