Phyllis Garber Gittleman, 94, died August 29. She was the widow of Ernest Gittleman. She is survived by her children, Alan Gittleman and his wife Donna of South Windsor, and Myra Simon and her husband David of Houston, Tex.; her daughter-in-law Sherri Gittleman of Davie, Fla.; her grandchildren Jamie (Mark) Tarshis, Todd (Katie) Gittleman, Erica Gittleman, Michael (Alyssa) Gittleman, Rebecca (Michael) Poscovsky, Michelle (Jared) Tanner, Deborah (Andrew) Trejo, Elana Simon and fiancé Ricky Marcus; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Jordyn Tarshis, and Andrew and Lily Gittleman. She was also predeceased by her son Howard, and her brother William.
